I know a lot of people who love the Apple iPhone, especially the iPhone 3G. I think the Android is best if you use a lot of Google apps - like Maps, Gmail, Reader, etc. The iphone is a much more mature device, in that its screen and controls are better, but having said that the G1 has 3 different controls - touch, scroll wheel and a full qwerty keyboard - which IMHO is a big plus over the iphone - people hate typing on the iphone!

Also the T-mobile G2 phone is supposed to be coming out soon - so maybe wait for that. Some other phone companies should be bringing out new models too. Anyway here is a bunch of G1's for sale: http://www.megacheapphones.com/manufacturers/htc/htc-dream-t-mobile-g1-google-android-phone.php
The G1 is much cheaper than the iphone on that same store: http://www.megacheapphones.com/manufacturers/apple/apple-iphone-8gb-3g.php
References :
http://www.megacheapphones.com

haha i say go for the android. I hate mac stuff though so im a little biased. My roommate loves his G1... but personally I think its ugly and its tmobile... good luck with that. Id say go for one of the verizon phones with the same stuff (wi-fi and stuff like that).

~~~ also I found out it does have a headphone jack, but not the standard ones its the smaller connection like normal cell phones
References :
